The meeting was called to order at 3:30

Lynn Raymond, director of Technology in Weber School District shared with the council about filtering - iboss, student data privacy, password security, the digital literacy curriculum we use called common sense media, and BARK that is coming soon. He introduced the website have i been pwned. On this website, you can see if you have an account that has been compromised in a data breach.

Melissa LeeMasater, reading specialist at North Ogden Elementary, presented on NOE Literacy Plan. Reporting Data from K-3 and EOY Pathways growth, what each grade (K-3) has as their goal and what each grade is focusing on. NOE is doing great with these literacy goals.

Mr. Nestoryak shared how North Ogden Elementary was selected as one of a few schools across Utah to participate in a ULEAD working summit because North Ogden Elementary has shown observable evidence of effective early literacy instruction. Mr. Nestoryak shared with us the North Ogden Elementary profile and introduced us to McKell Withers, who invited a team from our school, and the ULead website. The video What is Blended Learning? was shared and we discussed how our school is using technology in the classroom.
