Community Council Notes – February 10, 2021 – NOE Library

Attendance – Shirley Passey, Melissa LeeMaster, Mike Hipwell, Theodore Rock, Kellie Johnson, Shalise Rasmussen, Sharon Brown.

The meeting was called to order.

Points of the meeting;

  • Shirley went over the trust lands data for 2019-2020 and the budget report.
  • Melissa LeeMaster went over the results of Acadience/DIBLES results from 2019-2020. Them presented data from this year’s Acadience/DIBLES Beginning of Year and Middle of Year 2020-2021. Data showed there were some gaps in students learning but also progress in student learning.
  • Trust land goals for 2021-2022 school year were discussed so the plan can be put into the Trust land goals for the 2021-2022 school year.
  • Concerns about school lunch and the amount of time students have to eat their lunches were discussed. It was decided that there would be 2 lunch lines, one on each side, to get the line moving faster, allowing more time for students to eat. Also it was explained that students are given extra time to eat if they do not finish in time.
  • Fundraiser money that has been spent for the 2020-2021 school year were gone over and explained.
  • There was time given for questions and concerns.

Kellie Johnson motioned to dismiss the meeting and a second was made, and the meeting was dismissed.
