Community Council Meeting Minutes

Thursday October 10, 2024 at 5:00 pm in North Ogden Elementary Conference Room

Attendance: Ranel Cox, Monica Widdison, Jessica Wilkey, Jen Williams, Linda Williams

Mrs. Cox welcomed and turned the time over to Monica Widdison from Weber School District.

Monica showed us slides about technology used in the schools and how it is filtered, monitored, used in teaching and how there are different resources for teachers and parents.
Mrs. Cox then showed us two videos about Trustlands and then reviewed the goals for this school year and where we stand with money
- Trustlands
  - $58,000 to Aides for K-6, goal of getting 75% of students at or making progress above benchmark
  - Money for IXL - $18,000 to maintain and update tech. and $6,989 for school license
- TSSA Plan (Teacher and Student Success Act) - $119,308.10
  - Same benchmark goal as Trustlands
  - Same IXL Goal with $6000 and $800
  - Behavior Goal - Mental Health Specialist $5,000, Behavior Aide $18,000, Software $350, Beverly Taylor Sorensen Act to teach K-6 $4,000
  - As of October we have used $14,644.05
