Reading aides do make a difference and aides are funded by monies from the community council Trust Lands plan. We spend $40,500 for reading aides, and computer specialist. Funding estimates are expected to jump to 64K plus for our plan for next year.
Update on Current Plan
People can view our trustland report. on our NOE website under “funding summary.” Mr. Nestoryak went over this in the meeting. TenMarks will not be available next year. Mrs. Filiaga and Mr. Burnett are looking in “math-letics” as a possible replacement.
Looking at next year’s plan
We should probably increase the amount of costs for reading aides because it is projected that there will be a -$1,417.82 deficit.
We will have to figure out what the costs will be for 49% of the school’s chromebook costs for next year.
NOE will be having a family math night with a curriculum specialist and breakout sessions in different classes this Thursday.
Kristi motioned to adjourn meeting at 4:25 and Mike seconded.
