Meeting Minutes Feb 10th 2022

Community Council Minutes

  • Welcome: Sharon Brown opened the meeting at 3:31 pm
  • Attendance: Shirley Passey, Heidi Preston, Debbie Butte, Kristina Singley, Crystal Deamer, Kellie Johnson, Matt Deamer, Lynsey Mahoskey, and Sharon Brown.
  • General Reporting: Shirley went over the current budget and we are in line with the budget. 
  • Budget: Shirley went over the budget in detail, explaining where money is being spent and for what purpose. (this can be viewed online)
  • Goals: Goals for next year should stay about the same as this year’s; one goal for math and one goal for ELA. 
  • We discussed concerns about the Covid 19 virus and the impact it is having on student’s mental well-being. There was then discussion about adding funding for a therapist that we would share with other schools. If this transpires we would have a therapist at our school one day a week to work with students needing services. 
  • There was discussion about the Panorama tools
  • There was time opened for questions.
  • Next meeting: scheduled for March 7, 2022 3:30-4:30
  • The Trustland plan for 2022-2023 is due to the district by March 9, 2022
  • The meeting adjourned at 4:00 pm
