Monday, October 11, 2021 Community Council Minutes

  • Welcome – Shirley Passey the meeting began at 3:31 pm
  • Introductions: People in attendance; Shirley Passey, Debbie Butte, Melissa LeeMaster, Kristina Singley, Linsey Mahoskey, Krystal Deamer, Matt Deamer, Sharon Brown
  • General Information about serving on the council. All Community Council information can be found on the school website.
  • Went over parliamentary procedures.
  • Discussed chair and vice chair – Chair will be Kelly Johnson and Vice Chair will be Sharon Brown
  • We watched a video on Community Councils. The video went over where money goes, trainings available, and how to make budgets and trustlands goals, Appropriate academic Areas for goals (Mathematics/Science/English-Language Arts).
  • Reviewed trustlands fund goals for last year.
  • Looked at 2021-2022 Goals – they stayed very much the same as last year.
  • The budget is posted on the school website. Transparency is important.
  • Academic reporting for last year – Melissa LeeMaster went over Dibels Results K-3
  • Meetings for the year – Monday, October 11, 2021, Monday, November 15, 2021, Monday, January 10, 2021, and Monday, February 7, 2021.  These are subject to change as needed. Anyone is welcome to attend.
  • Meeting was adjourned at 4:19 pm
